Beach Boys legend Brian Wilson headlines Cropredy
BEACH Boys’ co-founder Brian Wilson will headline Fairport’s Cropredy Convention music festival this summer.
He will perform the legendary 1966 album, Pet Sounds at Cropredy, on Thursday, 9th August — the first day of the three-day festival.
Also on the bill will be host band Fairport Convention, ever-popular folkrockers Oysterband making their first appearance since 2004, The Travelling Band, Cregan & Co featuring Jim Cregan of Cockney Rebel, former frontman of Marillion Fish makes his second appearance, Mercury-nominee Kate Rusby makes her Cropredy debut, and Friday night headliners Levellers, returning to the festival for a 13th year. BAFTA nominee Richard Digance will also play a set, as will The Bar-Steward Sons.
Three-day festival tickets cost £135 until 1st June, camping tickets cost £45 for three nights, all tickets are exclusively available from www.fairportconvention.com
