Celebrating 30 years of Stratford Jazz
A special concert takes place at Stratford ArtsHouse tomorrow to celebrate an incredible 30 years of promoting jazz in the local area.
Stratford Jazz formed in 1986 with a handful of jazz musicians playing in the White Swan. Regular gigs were held from 1991 and after three venue changes they are delighted to celebrate 30 years of high quality Jazz in Stratford.
The evening starts at 7pm with a drinks reception in the foyer and continue in the auditorium with the Tom Haines Big Band.
UK jazz composer Tom has been gaining recognition in the big band field and has been winning award after award in Europe over the past three years.
