TWO art exhibitions saw local artists display their fine work over a gloriously sunny weekend.

The Stratford Art Fair was put on by Friends of Stratford Girls’ Grammar at the Town Hall, and showcased a diverse range of over 250 pieces of professional artwork available to view or buy.

The exhibition raised money for the Shakespeare Hospice and also the school.

Meanwhile, Kineton Art Group also hosted an exhibition and sale, which consisted of 200 original drawings, pastel, watercolour and oil paintings by 50 of the members and other invited artists.

Funds were raised for Painting for Pleasure, a not-for-profit organisation for disabled people and those living with or recovering from illness including respite for carers.
