Potter about at Open Studios!

FROM Saturday, 18th June, to Sunday, 3rd July, artists across the county will be opening up their work spaces to allow the public to have a nosey around and buy their artwork during Warwickshire Open Studios.

Over 250 artists are taking part across 128 venues, but Herald arts is particularly drawn to ceramics this year, and will be off to watch potter Jane Emmerson engrave Shakespeare quotes on the side of her bowls to commemorate the 400th anniversary at Lane End, Bishopton Hamlet.

Then we are heading off to explore the work of the 11 artists showing at Ditchford Farm near Shipston. Among them will be the wonderful pots of Emma Clegg.
